Our Fees & Rebate

Consultation fee is payable at the end of each session. An appointment with our psychologist will cost $185 per 50-60 minute session.

Fees for psychometric assessments such as IQ or developmental testing are to be determined dependent on the nature of the assessment provided.

If you have a current referral from your GP for a Mental Health Care Plan, you are entitled to receive a Medicare rebate, which means we use your Medicare card for Bulk Billing and you will pay a gap fee of between $85 to $100 for each session. Please read the Medicare information below. 

We accept payments by: Cash, Cheque, EFTPOS, Visa, Mastercard and American Express.

Rebate for Eligible Patients with Mental Health Care Plan

If you want to claim a Medicare Rebate, you must have a Referral Letter PLUS a current Mental Health Care Plan from your GP, Psychiatrist or Pediatrician prior to your first appointment. A referral letter alone without an approved Mental Health Care Plan is not eligible for Medicare rebates. Please advise your GP when you are making the appointment that you are requesting a referral letter and Mental Health Care Plan to a psychologist as your GP will need time to complete the required paperwork with you to bring to your first appointment with our psychologist.

Eligible patients can receive either 10 individual counselling or group therapy sessions in a calendar year. Your referring doctor will assess your progress after the first six sessions. 

Private Health Funds

Private health funds offer rebates for clinical psychological services. You may be eligible for rebates if you have cover for ancillary benefits. Since the amount you can claim back varies for each fund, and depending on the level of cover, it is recommended that you contact your health fund company for full information. After you pay the full amount at the end of each session, we will issue you with a receipt with item numbers to enable you to claim a rebate on your sessions from your private health fund. 

Worker's Compensation Claim

For those who have sustained a workplace physical or psychological injury, and referral to a psychologist has been recommended and approved, treatment sessions will be charged directly to your insurance company. You will need only provide your claim number and contact details of your insurer. 

CTP Claim

For those who have been injured in a motor vehicle accident, treatment sessions will be charged directly to your insurance company. You need only provide your claim number and contact details of your insurance company.
